H2MOF is an American company founded by Nobel laureates Sir Fraser Stoddart and Omar Yaghi. Based in Irvine, California, the company’s aim is to address the high costs for hydrogen, primarily by establishing safe and efficient storage and transportation, via a solid-state hydrogen storage solution that works at ambient temperature and low pressure (20 to 100 bar). REM talked to the company’s Product Market Specialist, Maria Chiara Mignani, to find out more.

Can you tell me about H2MOF and why it was established

H2MOF was incorporated in 2021 by Nobel laureate Professor Sir Fraser Stoddart, Nobel laureate Professor Omar Yaghi, and Dr. Samer Taha.
